When people go to a race and talk about how the RB growls differently off throttle than the other cars, this is what they are hearing. It’s a very unique sound to the RB19. #BritishGP

I am seriously impressed by Colapinto. I think he deserves a drive in F1 in 2025. Selfishly, If you put this kid next to Max and let him learn he could be quite a force. With some of the upcoming dynamics shifting in the VCARB seat, you will have a real chance to see what.
VAMOS FRANCO!!! 🇦🇷. It was another impressive weekend for @FranColapinto as he made his Singapore debut 🙌. #F1 #SingaporeGP

Video of the damage pickup. Quite significant edge damage.
I can confirm feedback from the RBR engineers that Max did indeed suffer floor damage when he struck the bollard. Sounds like the rear corner was damaged. I went back and watched the video and you can see clearly that when Max hits the bollard, the car comes down hard on the

F1 survived 7 years of absolute domination by Mercedes. Why do we feel like we need to babysit F1? It’s a constructor series as much as a racing series. If we want the best racing then it’s in a spec series. But does anyone want this really? 🤮 . Just let the season play out. .
You’ve gotta wonder how many of these races F1 can afford this year. No jeopardy out in front at all. You can hype the battle for 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th all you want, but most do not care.

There is this narrative going around that Checo wasn't informed enough of what Verstappen was doing, so let's dive into it and see what's what. Lap 21 Checo Pits for Hard Tyres. HB tells him on exit MV's last time on hard tyres "32.2." Lap 22 a few minor setting changes 🧵.

Just got confirmation that the team used a lot of Checo’s sprint race feedback, and setup changes to guide their setup direction for Max’s car. The changes were EXTENSIVE, and it was quite the feat to get it all done between the Sprint race and qualifying in time. So certainly.
The turnaround of the RB20 in Qatar from Sprint to race is an excellent view into how technical the race engineering of these ground effects cars is. Naturally some cars are more difficult to find performance with, but we only need to look across the grid for track to track

Alright that answers the question for me on why Max was so down on top speed on most all of the straights except for out of Variante Alta, and the finish straight. You can see the ERS (Blinking lights) strategy to recover at the end of each of the short straights into turns 5, 7,.
Just a brief video on how much Lando was pushing during the last few laps yesterday while chasing Max. A man on a mission. 🫡

Great images from @jameypricephoto in the high load S section. You can see just how much higher RB had to run the car because of the bumps. I’ve seen a few photos from this weekend showing the absurdly high RH of the RB19.

IMO intentional misquotes like this add to the toxicity of the interactions in our sport. The media members who do this should feel responsible for the role they play in feeding the toxic atmosphere we are seeing lately.

There is a lot of gamesmanship that takes place when cars are held in what we call the dummy grid before a race. Engineers such as myself take an opportunity to have a look at other cars. Mechanics when they see a senior engineer from an opposing team in the vicinity (cont). ”.

This is the problem with how these front and rear wings are tested. It’s a static test that is in no way reflective of aero loads. Nor is it reflective of load distribution across an element. If the static load tests are passed, then like front wings, this wing would be legal.
I'll leave this here @ScuderiaFerrari @FIA. The entire DRS flap is rotating under load. You can see at the pivot points, the flap is not aligning with the wing tips. The flap is backing off at high speed, shedding drag. How is this okay?

Tell me you’ve never worked in a workshop without telling me. Many control safety measures in shops don’t allow people to walk through garage doors with fall arresters installed. It’s standard safety policy in our industrial workshops.

I am an engineer in the subsea domain, and the more I learn about the #Titan submersible, the more I am flabbergasted by how little safety measures they had. In my industry everything has double and triple safety measures, and built in safe states. We deploy equipment down to. .

OMG. This is seriously artistic sculpting and complimentary aero. Those edge flickups, the new rear edge wing, the curl before the RT, the undercut protecting the clean flow to the diffuser edge. This thing is beautiful. @NicolasF1i

Interesting. Looks like the wheel pulls back? And at the same time the Tyre maybe toes in? Maybe the wheel cover is moving under lateral load? But the wheel does appear to pull back…. Hmmm. Adjustments to toe by the driver would aid Tyre prep and warmup. But surely not. this.
Das is weird… are my eyes playing tricks on me or does the front axle move as the steering wheel gets pulled back under braking? Could it be load transfer, or something else? 🧐

Max doesn't get nearly enough credit for his tyre management. Don't forget he also put in 46 laps on the same medium tyre in 2022 Mexico with a peak lap to lap delta of only 7 tenths! The RB18 and RB19 is the enabler, but MV is doing things with tyres that don't seem possible.
The key to victory 🔑🟡. Masterfully managing his mediums allowed @Max33Verstappen to execute the perfect strategy in changeable conditions 🛞🌧️ #Fit4F1 #MonacoGP

If this turns out to be true, then the two most important people in RBR will still be Enrico Balbo and Pierre Wache. These two have been a big piece of the RB19 and the RB20, and must be retained. I would guess if Newey is leaving then it's for AMR.
Adrian Newey is set to leave Red Bull according to our sources. We expect him to announce his decision soon. More on the exit date and who might get his service in the future in our AMuS story:.

Honestly, @SChecoPerez should be so happy with that race. It was textbook! He also held off Max at the end when Max was obviously pushing. Checo built back the gap and went on to win handily. Vamos Checo! Also love the killer drive from @Max33Verstappen as well.

I've been looking at this floor for far too long and it still perplexes me. Here is what I see so far. The most interesting thing is the floor wall is not flat. It's rounded inboard, and tapers down to the floor edge. I can't even explain the forward floor edge. 🤯
And THIS is why RB is so far ahead. This floor is mental. The upper surface of the tunnels are very 3D. Some very architectural flow profiling through the mid floor and floor edge as well. Wow. 😱😱

This. @SomersF1 is correct here. The issue is NOT the rear wing. I am told that the engine cover and the shoulder gulley's have a big impact on the overall drag of the car. And it's not what you think. The engine covers with the shoulder gulleys actually dramatically reduce

This is such a punt by the FIA. They are basically saying “It’s legal per the regulations, but if it becomes an issue then we may just create new regulations to stop it.” Give me a break. So if you are a team that’s already doing it then you are buzzing! The FIA says it’s.
