Maybe it’s time all those headteachers who want to champion the way they run their schools and raise the flag on how BPs policies will damage their approach actually stood up and made some noise

@David_Spendlove I can’t remember the last time I saw a headteacher on the news challenging the way the government is lining up to shaft education. That’s the difference. Where are the thousands of headteachers standing up to defend the way they too run their schools?!

YES. BP is taking away academies’ freedom to simply hold on to the number of school places they offer. She wants the state to have the power to seize (let’s say) 20 of the 120 places at X good school and give them to the less good school down the road. She will butcher schools

There are clearly some PS where you’re paying for ‘the badge’ but many others where you’re just paying to get what you think your child needs
