@KBell1776 @Christonic18 @watkins_japan @harryjsisson Then there's literally nothing stopping companies from discriminating against a specific group in a de-facto manner.

@KBell1776 @Christonic18 @watkins_japan @harryjsisson They're not discriminating, though. It's based not on specific gender, race, or sexuality, but rather what groups are unrepresented at the time. If a small company which happens to have a majority black staff feels that they need representation from white people, they'll hire.

@KBell1776 @Christonic18 @watkins_japan @harryjsisson DEI is finding a qualified person of a demographic to better ensure represenation and service toward that demographic, and to widen points of view within companies, as i understand it.

@MelodieSpears5 @BreakfastTaco11 @covie_93 Show us proof. There is proof, though, that right wing extremists showed up at Floyd protests to instigate and frame people? (see Ivan Hunter Harrison).

@crackaco1a @breed_full @RepJeffries I'm speaking about Republicans at the time. Freeing the slaves wasn't a conservative value at the time. It was necessarily progressive.

@Micro_Rest @NunyaGDB @EmmaVigeland The simple fact is that regardless of the controversy around sports, transgender people will persist and discussions surrounding gender identity vs. sex will continue. It's a social movement. It's likely going to continue changing how people perceive sex and gender./2

@Micro_Rest @CatherineLunali @NunyaGDB @EmmaVigeland I agree with you, but this affects literally less than one percent of student athletes.

@ForrestHodge4 @Micro_Rest @NunyaGDB @EmmaVigeland If you don't want to, you don't have to. That's fine. The thing is that it's not gonna go away. Also, there's quite a bit of overreaction to this movement to the point where the healthy exploration of one's identity is negated by social fear and anxiety./1

@CatherineLunali @Micro_Rest @NunyaGDB @EmmaVigeland So you can't reiterate any sort of point, got it.

@Chas2753Harris @ApatheticNo @mmpadellan And exactly what percentage of the total annual USAID funding is this?

@ApatheticNo @mmpadellan At least these people go through actual hiring processes, background checks, and can be held accountable by the government.

@dickcheneysmeat @ApatheticNo @mmpadellan Because he has no expertise to judge how any of these dollars are spent. His ego and biases will get in the way and do more harm than good. He, very clearly, is not acting in good faith and has a bone to pick with any sort of bureaucrat who does their job in a way he doesn't like

@ApatheticNo @mmpadellan Audited by an unelected billionaire who threw a very questionable gesture at the inauguration and who, very clearly, is alt-right with an agenda.
