@TaraSetmayer @TristanSnell But it is ok for presidents and First Ladies to attend the Olympics instead? That doesn’t strain anyone…..

@JenRich39706192 @adgirlMM They can still get federal funding , we just don’t need a government agency to do it. Both FEMA and Dpt of ED only started in 2979 by Carter. We did better without them. 🤷🏼♂️

“I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, etc The Constitution says that the President of the US is head of the executive branch which would mean that they need to support his direction unless it breaks a law. If they refuse and it is deemed a lawful directive they can be fired. The same as it is in the military. disregarding or obstruction of those directions is mot allowed just because they don’t think it is best for the country. They were not elected to decide that.

@JenRich39706192 @adgirlMM FEMA can be disbanded. All states have emergency response agencies. Dept of Ed can go. The state can handle their own schools. States can handle grants to their own state colleges for research. As for personal…. I hear there are several that are looking for work. 🤣🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣 did you complain when Biden was disregarding the SC ruling that said he didn’t have the authority to forgive debt, or when he said he could under emergency powers after claiming the emergency was over? How about when Obama said he had a pen and didn’t need Congress? I take it you are only oppose those from a party other than Democrat.

Government employees are answerable to the elected official for whom they work. They don’t get to decide what is in the best interest of the country. Someone was elected to tell them what that is. There are options for a government employees to take that doesn’t include obstruction or disregard. They were hired not elected. They can do what they are told to do. 🤷🏼♂️

That is completely false. Tax Rate,Taxable Income Range 10%,$0 to $11,600 12%,$11,601 to $47,150 22%,$47,151 to $100,525 24%,$100,526 to $191,950 32%,$191,951 to $243,725 35%,$243,726 to $609,350 37%,Over $609,350 Capital gains is also tax progressively by income. The top 20% still provides 64% of government revenue. Why should a small Population be responsible to fund the government for the majority? As you become more successful, you get penalized more? Seriously, where is the fair in that?

The president isn’t the worker bee of the Congress. He has complete authority over his branch of the government. While Congress provides funding the president has discretion on how it is applied within the loose parameters that Congress sets. He can also reorganize his branch in what way he sees fit. There is no such thing as a stand alone agency that is unanswerable to the chief executive. While that has been done, it can be changed at the SC. The Constitution didn’t make provisions for an agency that was outside the management of the president.

Bend the knee? They are government employees working in the executive branch. Their job is to bend the knee to the elected proof the United States who is their boss. They are not paid to obstruct or delay directives they don’t agree with. Or to leak information to the media. They are paid to do the job the president gives them.

@jjenal @adgirlMM He can downsize or eliminate an agency and reorganize as it is his preview . Congress can’t tell him how to run the executive branch. In the area of foreign aid, he can change priorities to match with his vision as that is his area of power as well except in the case of treaties.

@AZ_Brittney We the People want control of our tax dollars again and an end to unelected bureaucracy wasting them.

Trump didn’t have support the first term. He should have vetoed some of their spending bills sent to him, I agree. Reagan had to in order to fix the mess Carter got us into. Maybe you don’t remember gas lines. 🤷🏼♂️ Regardless, because some in the past spent lots before is a reason to keep doing it now? What kind of stupid is that as an argument?

This is a Republic of states that are supposed to have equal voice in the government and self determination in much of their operations as the founders intended. Not for a centralized entity that controls what each state does. Maybe you should read some of their work and justification as to why things were set up as they were.

@campbellkevin74 @adgirlMM Ahh, you liberals can’t get away with your Nazi references can you? 🤣🤣 Hitler and the Nazis in no way tried to limit the size and scope of the government or to reduce spending. You sound like you read too much Marx and Engels. 🧐

@jjenal @adgirlMM The IGs that have been working for years and done nothing? The funding going to absurd projects, why wait to have Congress cut it when it can be done now? They are under the Executive branch and subject to the direction of the president. It’s already in the Constitution 🤷🏼♂️
