Nobody wants to work for crappy wages. Every now and then in my local Kroger's whole departments will walkout and quit. Maybe Kroger's needs to respect their workers and pay better wages and benefits.
@AJEnglish
meanwhile Israel keeps killing Palestinians, stealing their land and pastures, claiming their water and natural resources, limiting their movements, letting the military stand guard while a mob of settlers desecrate their holy shrines. The list of atrocities goes on.
@anthonydellomes
I'm more concerned about who will be president when I'm 100 because I don't want someone like trump sending me birthday greetings, it would totally ruin my special day.
@TizzyEnt
Wish she had thought to take the phone to give to police/FBI upon landing. What's he going to say, "You took my phone that I used to record you in the bathroom?"
@HeartMebbie
@ProjectLincoln
I'd hate to see Benjamin Franklin's name associated with a "new" Republican Party. He was too progressive for them even 250+ years ago.
@musicmaned
Great picture, happy summer solstice. As others have mentioned, yes, it's a planet, Venus. We've had fireflies/lightning bugs for a month or so, love them.

@IAmPoliticsGirl
Corporations dictate prices, not the president. Congress refuses to tax excessive profits, and refused to raise the minimum wage since 2009 and tipped wage since the 1990s.
@RossKneeDeep
Hilary would have been a great president, she was the most prepared person to ever run, with experience as a Senator, Secretary of State, business owner, and former First Lady. It was to our great loss as a nation.

That's nice but too much for them to read. Need simple phrases for simple minds. Maybe something like:
$35/mo for insulin
Free Pre-k
Affordable housing
Broadband service
$$$ Jobs
Thank you to all my new followers. I think I've followed everyone back but if I missed you please let me know. I love meeting new and interesting people. It's true, we are stronger together. 🙏💙

It's not boomers, it's republicans. Many boomers are still working and paying into Social Security. Republican have always wanted to destroy anything that's good for regular people.
@smalls2672
I'll never understand how people in red states keep voting for GOP and pride themselves on being 'conservatives." They have higher rates of infant and maternal mortality, higher child poverty, lower health status, lower wage and lower education. The "family values" party. Wake up

Their agenda is to force a Christian Nationalist state, get rid of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, deny basic rights to women, LGBTQ+, and immigrants, gerrymander more districts, deregulate protections, cut SNAP, WIC, and school lunches, and get us into more wars
@RonDeSantis
I care about women making their own healthcare decisions. I care about libraries and schools filled with books. I care about teaching real history, especially if it makes some people uncomfortable. I care about a lot of things that you don't care about. You suck at your job.
@amandabittner
and today, the first day of spring break some happy dafty sends a memo on advising and how we can better help students and a second memo on fucking team building. I'm near my last straw.

I've taught college, homeschooled students were pretty average imo, and the brighter ones were surprised at how much they didn't know.

My mother too, she knew I was someone who loved her but couldn't make the connection but it didn't matter, I knew who she was. It's a terrible disease.
@MikeJoPro
1. those who voted for him
2. media that keeps promoting him
3. GOP that refused to impeach him or hold him accountable in any meaningful way
4. Red states that keep their citizens poor and ignorant
5. His colleagues and those who won't speak out about his unfitness for office.
@TeaPainUSA
I'd like to see a long list of his offenses for the GOP to defend, like the "long train of abuses and usurpations" in the Declaration of Independence, followed by many articles of impeachment including crimes against humanity for his cruel treatment of refugees at the border
Would it be too much to ask LBJ's ghost to come visit
#Manchin
tonight and maybe fit him up for a pair of Haggar slacks? Won't need to leave extra ball room.
When the President prefaces something by claiming that “a lot of people are saying,” it is his way of pushing out false information, like birtherism, wiretapping at Trump Tower, or spies in his campaign. There is no limit to his mendacity.
@BraddrofliT
I stand in front of a room full of mostly young adults, go blah, blah blah about an important topic, show supporting data and graphs, sometimes a video clip and someone says "That's just your opinion."

@JulieDiCaro
Loved that show. Do you remember the episode with Aunt Clara and the piano on the stairs? Still cracks me up, "Piano, what piano?"

Oh no, they don't want sex ed in schools, no contraceptives, no abortions, and no TANF, SNAP or social welfare of any type. Pro-birth, not pro-life. I see that on cars around here.

@duty2warn
Evil to the core. He'd be standing there like Pilate in front of handcuffed and blindfolded Democrats saying, "Should I kill this one or let them go?" and his followers would shout "Give us Barrabas!"
