@thenickpattison Yeahhhh not very pleasant. My comment was meant to be more general with the quote tweet as an example but an army of people decided I was gunning for this person. Which I understand. Anyway, I could have used softer language or not reference anyone else so that’s on me.

@apostraphi love this aesthetic for the brand; much prefer this to the vintage/future-retro vibe. This feels like a soft beautiful future.

@domesticetch Agree with all this, except I don't think it's necessarily wrong to replace a commercial creative. It might not be in good taste, but I don't think it's necessarily immoral. Again depends on the specific context.

@haikoostudio Oh I agree. But my point is this is the new reality now. This is what this technology has unlocked. And in 24 months I’m sure adobe will be the least of a designers concerns. There’s gonna be a huge grey area around all this for quite a while.

If you know some basic front-end css/html principals something like webflow or framer is great. I use webflow and it does the job great. Not tried framer but from my understanding it’s very comparable for a project like this. Having full control over the design/code of your portfolio is a game changer (vs squarespace), a lot more up front effort for sure, but worth it.
