Never forget that puberty blockers were the compromise. We should be fighting for trans kids to get HRT, not blockers. Blockers should be prescribed liberally while they figure out if they're trans.

@GemAfaWell Gem, the people making and selling DIY HRT are _other_ poor trans folks. Some of them are actively losing money doing this. The crypto overhead is adding tens of cents to the monthly cost of DIY HRT to keep those sellers out of jail.

@nyshra_ Come on friend, be serious. If you're not ready then that's your decision, but don't be hateful towards people taking serious risks to save others just because you can't be bothered taking an hour to learn how something works.

@Beatami_ @SBalveda Yep, your thread made made some great points. The best way to help people is to give them agency, let them know they haven't exhausted every option yet.

It's not even that endos are evil or bad btw. We did a thread earlier this year talking about this. Medical transition just doesn't fit in the usual "condition -> intervention" framework most modern medicine is based on.

@SBalveda The discourse is silly for sure but it's a common anxiety. I've had some awful conversations over the years with people a decade or more on placebo dosages. It's gut wrenching to watch them realise in real time how easily so many of their problems could have been fixed long ago.

@fishyishy5150 We also don't use any external services that would compromise privacy, and we don't store any personally identifiable tracking data. There's just your account if you have one, which you can delete at any time.
