Great new paper by @yveszenou1, @rmegal, @SilviaGriseld, and @SofoklisGoulas on how peer disruptiveness has long run impacts for student success.
Here is a new paper on how do disruptive peers influence academic and career trajectories. We find that classroom peer disruptiveness has significant and persistent negative effects on various academic outcomes both in the short and long term.

@JHB_econ I’ve been teaching this kind of class for a couple of semesters! Things we cover: what makes a good research question, reviewing the literature, writing referee reports, writing presentations vs papers. Lots of getting students to comment on each others ideas, work, etc.
