@mitchellscomet Same here. It’s a weird hate, infused with the knowledge that he could be better but just isn’t. There’s a disgust mixed in with the loathing that I’m not familiar with.

@frogs4girls I was doing this but I decided that was completely off the table. It’s a ridiculous notion that I refused to entertain. It was my red line. I would do anything else but absolutely not that. Then my brain just had to come up with other ideas b/c it got nowhere with that one

Oohhh this thread is taking me back. Ahh when life was simple and it felt like everyone was moving in the same direction, at their own pace mind you, but all facing the future.
music theory tweet: I'm obsessed with how much the Mixolydian mode (major scale with a lowered 7th step) was having a moment in pop music in the mid-late 90s. this mode has a very distinctive sound and emotion to it. I'll list some examples in next tweet-
