This is actually kinda fire programming for that tween/teenage/young adult watcher likely engaging in toonami at the time. Around those ages you feel very lost and confused so the combination of late night viewing and these motivational words prolly hit like a truck.

I think the Danny Rand iron fist problem is one that has faced marvel for a long time. I think the character inherently is a product of the white savior trope, but I do think there is a way to make him work in a modern context. If a community feels Lie better reps, gotta respect.
My boy Lin Lie will finally get the recognition that he deserves in Marvel Rivals, the better iron fist!

The best part of this show to me was that a lot of the villains had valid reasons to turn to villainy and most of those reasons were societal and it took Static just being a listening ear to help steer the characters on a different path.
Adam (Rubberband Man) doesn’t get mentioned enough when it comes to tv characters with the best redemption arcs

@lethaliscute @killdbykill I feel you but id argue art is and was always accessible to those not formally trained and I’d like for kids who pick up some stuff to know that they’re making art and that they’re an artist. Classism and Elitism will always exist on either isle.
