@theJayAlto 10,000 hour rule is about mastery. When Gladwell talked about it he used the Beatles as an example. They could play fine but it took the hours to gain mastery not just proficiency.

If I were just concerned about clicks and making maximum money I would simply expose all the secrets of magic in a systematic irreverent manner. But I am more concerned with goodness and beauty and truth. The money comes through good streams as well.

@GoilersGunners @McCurdy1987 Goalies having babies is a thing. When Talbot had his twines his game went down immediately. I think it’s the desire to help parent. The goalie game is 90% mental so fatigue can really effect things.

@ChrisLDyson If your goal is to build financial wealth I agree. But art is necessary and often not always appreciated in its time. Especially if it is original or groundbreaking. It’s why many of the best artists that weren’t starving had benefactors.

I was pretty big into the social media game. Had hundreds of thousands of followers on different accounts. But I came to realize it was a hamster wheel. Regurgitating what worked for clicks and maybe a few dollars. I sacrificed it to create. To actually write.

Planning is progress. We wouldn’t just set out to climb Mount Everest in our pajamas. But it is also important to not be paralyzed by over planning.
