@JasmineNephro @NDTsocial @hjanders_hans Shouldn’t we consider MN an autoimmune podocitopathy? IMO is slit diaphragm vs non ST-podocitopathy. Or complement dependent (MN) vs not (MCD/FSGS) for reasons that are not completely understood

This condition is likely way more common than PTSD, with domestic abuse being a leading cause. Most patients have never been diagnosed. Moreover, if I recall correctly, it is not even listed in the DSM-5. Such a shame since it is treatable and often curable! Thanks #BMJ
Complex PTSD usually arises from repeated, prolonged, or chronic exposure to trauma, whereas PTSD is often caused by a single episode of trauma. What is Complex PTSD, and what is the treatment? #MedEd

@fperrywilson I see your point but UP food contains also a large amount of sat fat, salt, and often sugar. All things that trow off metabolism beyond the calories. Going a bit more fancy: also tran-insaturated fat, AGE and other oxidizing compounds.

@matthewherper @zachweinberg Also, the line between opinion and objective news is more blurred than most think. Even deciding what is important to be reported is somewhat an opinion. It is impossible to eliminate subjectivity from any human activity. That said there are clear “opinion only” pieces
