@DiscipleOfBrad This bit was a little edge-lordy but Ashad was pretty decent in the episode. A shame he got worse with every subsequent episode he was in.

@spiderypoyo I think the episode did a pretty good job putting Buffy in a more antagonistic position while still having the motive make sense. Her relationships with both Faith and Angel drive her actions. Definitely disagree with the Passion of the Nerd take on the ep

@retrocvnty I'd only really suggest involving in this reboot at all (if she even wants to) for the second season if they prove themselves with the first season. I don't want Faith to be ruined.

@thelaymphilo @MauLer93 Tbf these two have written a decent amount of stuff including some Agents of SHIELD episodes so at least they wrote some stuff with similar vibes. Weirdly the last time they tried to reboot Buffy they also tried it with an AOS writer.

@MauLer93 This gonna be one of those hope for the best, expect the worst situations. On the other hand, maybe this will help finally get the Buffyverse EFAP arc into gear.

@TharriesYT I mean you can maybe argue that just cause RTD brought it back to life doesn't mean he couldn't then kill it later. Or he could be referring to "killed" in the sense that Doctor Who from 2005 onwards tarnished the brand.
