However I don't think either of the main political parties have the will to deal with that.

Pressure needs to be brought to bear on all institutions (gov, NHS, police, BBC, schools) embracing this ideology in the meantime as harms are being done. I believe those behind it in the US are pushing it *very* hard here, now their cash cow is withering there.
