@ericmigi @Pebble I feel like you should use one of the print on demand services, and each time you post the next t-shirt photo, have a link to buy it.

@2b2bff Hmm, no, I haven’t seen that. Though, in general, optical wrist HR will typically struggle more in the winter for people, especially on colder.

*2020, not 2000. Though, my first e-mails with them were 2014. So, we'll split the difference.

@LaurentAlhadeff @jestupinan55 And sorry, also closes in the upper task bar? Sometimes restarting Mac helps too, to get it to enumerate (as it kills off any background processes holding on).

@LaurentAlhadeff @jestupinan55 Is Garmin Express still running in background? Also, some webcam apps can block MTP as well.

Garmin watches globally are crashing when you try and start a GPS activity (or leverage anything with the GPS, such as some apps/features). Here's what's going, and the likely starting point for the list of devices impacted:

I'll be doing a gravel trip across Morocco, where I definitely plan to make some devices re-think their life choices. If you want to join me (for realz!), a few more details here:

Super cool to see Eric manage to convince Google to opensource the original Pebble code. While it's near-impossible to compete with the major wearable companies these days in feature/integration depth (e.g. music/NFC/etc...), there remains a huge market for niche options.

Unexpected deal of the day: The just-announced Garmin Instinct 3 AMOLED is on sale for $50 off. Given this is very unlike Garmin, with Instinct 3 just 3-weeks old, Uncle Amazon appears to be to thanks for this random Monday gift. (Amazon Affiliate link)

Week in Review: The UCI approves Nix hydration sensors (and my thoughts on them), skier saved by Apple Watch SOS after 1,000ft fall, Samsung starts making kids smartwatch OS, solid Hammerhead Karoo firmware update, and plenty more!

Somewhat of a first today, a slight sale on the Garmin Fenix 8 - roughly $70 off. Not a ton given the price, and limited to the 47mm Titanium model. But hey, more money for ice cream or cookies, if you were in the market! (Amazon Affiliate link)

In addition, some interesting new deals out there (listed in post too). Fenix 7 for $429: Enduro 3 for $829: Forerunner 955 for $399: Plus a number of others listed below. (Note: Amazon Affiliate links)

@DavidMundina Unfortunately, with an Uno, it’d be impossible to know, especially during standing times, because of shifting balanced and the doubling effect. Said differently, with Uno as a comparison, totally reasonable.
