A Wind Chill Advisory is in place from Midnight-9am Tuesday. Potentially dangerous wind chills of -15 to -25 are expected for the morning. Frostbite can develop in as little as 30 minutes at these levels. Make sure to limit time outdoors if possible or cover all exposed skin.
EARLY PREDICTIONS ~ According to Snow Day Calculator, schools in the Omaha Metro Area have around a 35% chance of a SNOWDAY on Friday! These numbers will definitely change over the next day.

I’m thinking it won’t get cold enough for time off of school until Thursday and or Friday. HOWEVER, anything could happen and we will be keeping an eye on the wind chills in the morning and we will keep y’all posted!🥶❄️
Winter Strom Watch has been issued for the Omaha metro, along with most of eastern Nebraska and SW Iowa late Thursday-Friday. Right now, 4"-7" of fluffy snow is possible for the metro/I-80 corridor with slightly higher amounts south. Big impacts likely during the Friday AM drive.
There appears to be about a 60% chance of the snow arriving around 2 pm tomorrow. Do you guys think this could show up just in time to cause early dismissals or a snow day???
The streets of Cinnamon Creek are covered in a layer of snow and will have another layer of ice on it before 3:30 P.M. tomorrow when buses would be taking kids home. 😬 Things like this are factors superintendents like
