Russell Wilson was the 1st black franchise/starting QB to win a Super Bowl.
Before Russ, a black QB had not won a SB in almost 30 years. There were plenty of dog whistles around Cam, McNabb, Vick, and other black QB’s ability to win one.

i know we hate to admit it but yeah it’s easier for the average nba guy to play in the nfl than the other way around. the issue is nba guys thinking it’s easy at all. it isn’t and there’s only a handful of them that could actually do it.
