San Franciscan to the core, and a proud citizen of California. Now at Bluesky - https://t.co/feiDtp0o8A
Joined November 2015
I’ve moved over to @bluesky, same handle as here - Unsure of a way to find all the people I followed, and followed me, but hope to see everyone on the other side.

@StarTrekOnPPlus @paramountplus I’ve never laughed like that at a Star Trek episode before, it was an all time great one. The Lower Decks style intro was genius, and working in Enterprise & the NX-01 crew was greatly appreciated (and we need more Enterprise. A lot more). “I love grapplers” 😂😂😂 #StarTrek

Nice to see that SFPD is willing to finally do it’s job, but only against skateboarding teenagers. But not drug dealers, not people shooting up in public, not smash & grabs, not reckless drivers, not 50 other things…but to be tough guys vs. teenagers (who were breaking the law).

@tyleranneliese I had to look this up, had no idea that limiting reading of posts was implemented by that turnip. Also saw this site starting having issues the day after their hosting contract with Google ended (and shockingly, Twitter didn’t pay their bill). What a dumpster fire.

It’s time for Sacramento to come after San Francisco full force for repeatedly stalling housing with CEQA shenanigans. Lack of housing is one of the root causes of all our other issues. Please make an example out of us to other California cities doing the same, enough is enough.
I've had so many of my colleagues in the legislature send me this article and ask me what the hell is going on in San Francisco. One legislator from the Central Valley texted me with the question "I thought San Francisco was progressive?!!" Because to her, and most people across the state, building more housing is a progressive policy principle. These type of decisions are not only bad policy, pushing SF further from addressing our housing crisis, they also leave the perception across the state and country that San Francisco doesn't want to and is maybe even incapable of helping itself confront its own problems. That has real consequences on private and public sector investments and support that will have deep impacts on our residents. We desperately need CEQA reform and state intervention and enforcement of existing housing laws to ensure San Francisco actually builds the housing it is committed to, or we will continue to have one of the most unaffordable cities in the country. It is something I'm committed to seeing through this legislative session with urgency and determination.

@peterhartlaub @4StarTheater Drives me absolutely nuts that both posters for Star Trek IV have the GGB in the wrong place.

The North Beach @RefuseRefuseSF team had a great cleanup ahead of The North Beach Festival. We had 18 volunteers, and collected 25 bags of trash. Thanks to @NBNeighborsSF, all the people who showed up today, and now it’s time to partake in the festival!

@amhennessey @BrokeAssStuart @MLNow We didn’t stop buying breakfast/lunch/coffee in San Francisco, we do it in our own neighborhoods now. FiDi was never optimal, it was a ghost town Fri-Mon pre-COVID. I’m thankful to spend more money & time in my neighborhood, as I have zero emotional attachment to FiDi businesses.

@red_sea_xing @hknightsf You see this every single day, and it’s maddening. I would love to know how much of that 5% of sidewalk/bike lane/crosswalk tickets, was initiated by 311 requests, because SFMTA and SFPD both turn a blind eye to traffic & parking infractions…unless it’s street cleaning.
