If you voted Democrat and you are feeling that the election result is truly horrifying, do this one simple thing for your mental health: Write down your fears of what might happen in the next 4 years on a piece of paper. Re-read and check in on them every few months. It will be a constant source of relief to you when you see that your fears will not, in fact, come true. Then start asking why you had those fears in the first place and how you can prevent them from forming the next time.

So the regular season is literally the same as it ever was. If you think it's not, it's because you've bought into someone else's narrative and just decided to believe it's not. There is no other reason it isn't. It's the same exact thing, it's only different in your head. Exactly zero players are taking it easy because "we can lose this game and still get in". By the way, the regular season is still fun. Deciding it's not is some dumb made up thing that you can chose to believe in if you want.

How do you not see that you're arguing against yourself and on behalf of the current system? You're arguing that the team who won it all in dominating fashion, through the most difficult gauntlet ever, didn't deserve a chance. The 12 team just showed us that we weren't necessarily crowning the best team champions every year.
