Reading smut is perfectly fine but lets not act like the majority of popular books aren’t just romanticised sa and abuse or just straight up misogyny. those types of books desensitize the readers to sexual violence and can be harmful
comparing smut to porn is very stupid in my opinion. as a literature student, how do you not know about the positive impact of erotic literature, especially when porn can be so harmful.
