@YIMBYLAND The city wage tax of almost 4% is a dealbreaker. This applies if you live within city limits and/or work in the city. It’s awful. My company moved out of the city and to the suburbs in 2020. Best decision we ever made and an instant 4% raise for all employees.

@girdley @neilquinn Yep, in the Philly suburbs in any descent school district you are looking above $850k for a SFH with 2500 sq ft. Anything below $550k is going to require a lot of work.

@EpsilonTheory @robbot4000 @ttmygh Prior to mail in ballots we had to “go and vote in person”. If you can “go to vote” then you can get a form of identification. These 90 year olds are some how getting to hospitals and showing ID. No reason not to show ID to vote.
