@JoeMarler I really wish there was laughing emoji on here … it’s hilarious 1) the post, 2) the reaction 3) the apology Personally think it’s become just theatre and always feel the opposition start on the back foot as they can’t respond .. hey ho 🤣

@Jamesasr89 @NickBandurak23 Agreed. And I wasn’t meaning to detract from his previously obvious excellent record

@Jamesasr89 @NickBandurak23 But the whole thing is intrinsically linked as the ‘boss’ pays for both the M1 player and the L1 coach.

@Jamesasr89 I think, reading between the lines, terms ‘player power’ and ‘no player is bigger than the club’ come to mind, it’s a 1 sided article, you won’t get the truth, let’s say this, being dropped for Paris seemed harsh, the new coach was part of that process … read what you like ..

@W14APS It’s great news Paul. Your approach has been a breath of fresh air. Goes to show a leader doesn’t need to be passionate about the sport they are working in .. just open minded, realistic, supportive and humble and most of all honest with people

@ManiKochar I’m more concerned that coaches play/set up so they don’t lose. Not just our sport but actually pretty much every sport. Pretty boring if you ask me. No issues with players being able to play anywhere but that does mean no one does anything different.. and it’s easily readable

@Jamesasr89 The scenes immediately after were not the best and can not be condoned. It will be forgotten ultimately, but his actions have undoubtedly left a sour taste behind, and will be a talking point in time to come. I’ve read he’s apologised, which I right.

@FowerakerE So many coaches play to a play book, not what’s in front of them. No player is allowed to be creative at risk of losing the ball, rather a draw than a loss. Yes tournament hockey is about winning but risk and reward plays it’s part, and would worry teams and entertain the fans!

@UKLionsHockey1 Totally agree. Totally agree. Get them playing as much sport as possible … so many distraction trough teenage years. Let them have fun, experience as many sports as possible, then let them pick.
