Having your stick up above your head and back into an opponent's face is no mistake, it is unnatural/unnecessary with a high level of danger while being reckless.

Stick was in an unnatural and dangerous position into the head of opponent, intentional or unintentional this warrants a red card.
With a red card comes a disciplinary hearing which most likely includes a match suspension.

As someone who has been in the exact same situation, getting a red card for maybe not so intentional but highly dangerous and unnecessary stick contact with opponents head.
I can agree that it is 100% a red card with match suspension coming also.
Don't understand why some Indian fans are saying Rohidas card was a wrong decision.
That was absolutely spot on. There is no question about the call

Tournament Director’s decision during hearing this evening was to ban / suspend Amit for one match. Hockey India has now appealed against this ruling.
The decision now will be made by appeal jury.

Just realised that Pholo is a small fish in a big pond of SA coaches overseas.
The likes of Craig Fulton, Paul Revington and Greg Nicol shows the quality of coaches that come out of SA.
If SA was really serious they would try get one of these back and back them with all they got.

At what point will teams refuse to play India?
After every match they blame the umpires and blame them of being racist and biased.
There is no place for behavior such as this in the game.
Be gracious in defeat and stop being sore losers.
I am sorry but the video umpire was so bad today. The penalty stroke that she gave was clearly going wide when it hit the shin pads of Jarmanpreet.

Teams know how auctions work and clearly overbid on day 1 and therefore we are seeing more realistic prices on day 2.
Teams like Kalinga clearly played it safe on day 1 and it paid of on day 2. By waiting for Hendrickx which they knew they wanted meant that they could pay less

TV umpire gives a suggestion to the onfield umpire, who can then decide by his own judgment if he agrees or not.
Onfield umpire made the correct call as a PC according to the rules.
