@Philbean12344 Dr Smith's account in court was different. Joanne Williams noticed a 94% air leak, tells Dr Smith & Dr Jayaram, JW leaves to see parents. Alarms going off, Smith goes in and sees Jayaram NOT Letby by the side of the incubator, Smith intubated "K" again.
Lucy Letby trial. Dr James Smith walked into ICU, saw Dr Jayaram "on the right of the incubator" & said "what's going on, what's happening". No mention of Lucy Letby or any other members of staff, just Jayaram. Why didn't the defence barrister ask, where were her nurses?

@natashak8719 @ajmspain Seen, prosecution and defence should have checked the credibility of any expert witnesses before instructing them. This whole case is chaotic.

@luxy208 @ClarkeMicah @cjsnowdon Lucy Letby is a nurse, my ex-partner is a clinical negligence lawyer, you would appoint an instructing solicitor and barrister that was used to clin-neg cases, they know how to appoint experts in every field of clinical negligence.

@NicholasLissack @Keir_Starmer @GwynneMP Good start to the week, does he have a never ending list of nobheads to throw under the bus (in the colloquial) to divert attention from how shit he and his cabinet are?

@RexvsLucyLetby @timowenkc When are people are going to ask: Why on earth did the defence not access the kind of quality of expert which now emerged. Court of Appeal emphasised the importance of effective legal representation, see R v McGoldrick [1998] 1 Cr App R 139 and R v McGowan [2008] EWCA Crim 1346

@Sassy191919 @Coloursofthewi6 @Kathrynmcfc @ClarkeMicah You haven't followed the case properly. Joanne Williams, the dedicated nurse for baby K raised concerns with Dr Jayaram and Dr Smith about the 94% air leak. Jayaram went to sort, alarms went off, baby de-saturated, Dr Smith had to intubate again. Are you really that stupid??

@Barristerblog @JoshuaRozenberg I went to Lucy Letby's trial at Manchester Crown Court and appeal in London. I also went to Axel Rudakubana's trial, sentencing and all his pre-trial hearings, I watched all the video evidence against him, the event as it unfolded including his arrest. Lucy Letby is innocent.

Joshua Rozenberg - Lucy Letby. Lord Denning famously said that the possibility of the police being responsible for a miscarriage of justice was an 'appalling vista'. A timely reminder of how much courts depend on what they are told: garbage in, garbage out. @JoshuaRozenberg

@merchant47 @misspaulalondon @TheSun I sat in court with the same journalists that sold their arse holes, souls and moral compass to Cheshire Police for stories. I came out of court every day, I listened to their podcasts, I read their reports and wondered why their reporting was so different to what happened.

@misspaulalondon @TheSun Proper analysis of the babies medical records has only happened since Lucy Letby changed her legal team. Cheshire Police used the media to prejudice public opinion and the jury. Go to Lucy Letby's appeal, make up your mind when you see and hear the evidence, not through the media

@bluebellchoppy The Mirror don't have reporters, they have hacks that do as their paymaster, Cheshire Police tell them to do. The Mirror are Cheshire Police's PR agent.
