@StevenH45332279 No they did not issue 267k shares. Share count 19,517 on 9/30/2024, 19,220 on 12/31/2024, 18,900 on 1/16/2025 and probably even lower today. So 297k bought back in Q4/2024 and another 320k bought back from 1/1/2025 to 1/16/2025. You can calculate it from 1/16/2025 disclosure.

@FishtownCap They bought back 564k shares since Q3 earning. Lots of buybacks happened in 2025. December 2024 share count is stale data not very useful.

@CP89880222 @SimpleJohn12 @MadisonLackey44 @christankerfund I’m more bullish on the intermediate range container ships (4250TEU to 13000TEU). So I like $DAC and $GSL more than $ESEA. Currently I really like $DAC’s speed of buybacks at over 2% per quarter. I think the stock will take off soon.

@christankerfund Yeah, I have a big position. They should raise the dividends. Buybacks tend to go unnoticed.

@MadisonLackey44 @christankerfund $ESEA is more expensive than $DAC in terms of P/NAV. $ESEA pays more dividend but $DAC does more buybacks. $DAC has larger scale, larger and more modern ships which are more in demand.

@christankerfund That’s laughable. Why would Hamas leave and who wants to take in those terrorists?

@Shipping_VIE @mintzmyer Crazy rates for two rusty buckets. ESEA has two more 4250teu opening up in Apr 2025 so those could get similar rates.
