I don’t have a problem with miss Nigeria being light skinned or biracial. But the pattern of almost every Nigerian beauty Queen being light skinned definitely stems from Colorism.
Nigerians have been so abused in the name of parenting that we don't even know what love looks like, how can you say that her dad burning her running shoes was an act of love and was done in her best interest? What are you smoking to make you type that?
@leeviahh
If men contribute equally to taking care of kids and doing the household upkeep they’ll both have time for each other. Otherwise you’ll just end up with overworked mum and idle dad with enough time to wonder why no one is paying attention to him.
People are more set in their ways when they get older. It becomes rarer to find someone who have the same values as you do because your values are well defined, and much more detailed. This isn’t about money
Once you cross a certain level of earning power & age, you’d realise a lot of things can be outsourced. Your options are limitless, a very dangerous place to be. You’d also realise a lot of women/men are packaged liabilities, a ticking time bomb. You become paranoid & very picky.
@Ashabi__Ade
This isn’t even disputable. There’s a list of winners for each year on Wikipedia. Go and pull up pictures of them and tell me how many of them are dark skinned quickly

Men will kill women they’re only dating, they will kill women that refuse to date them, they kill women that are just minding their business. it’s nothing to do with marriage.
@QueenBubie01
Shartu Garko is light skinned and Majority of Igbo people, and tribes from the South South are darker skinned. You’re all just saying what you don’t know 🙏🏾
It’s really funny because we saw how this played out in the last olympics, Cis African women weren’t considered women enough to compete because of the same arguments they touted against Trans women.
My opinion is that 3 years is far too lenient. Sexual crimes destroy people’s lives, they should be treated like crimes against humanity because that’s what they are
A compatible romantic partner is incredibly difficult to find. Even when you’ve grown together as a couple, your ideologies are going to differ ever so slightly. Many relationships simply won’t survive that little difference.
The black book acting was not good at all. The mannerisms, the lingo isn’t Nigerian it sounds like they’re trying to act an American movie set in Lagos which is just weird
There is something soulless about nollywood. They put the “act” in acting. They don’t embody characters, they act them out. It’s second hand embarrassment having to see some of these works on a global scale.
Misogynists want feminists though. They want an educated, hardworking woman who provides for the family, essentially a woman who is feminist to other people but reveres him as lord and personal savior.
If I may say so myself, not many Pastors are half as friendly as I am.
But some people who do not know me are hell bent on holding on to the narrative that I’m some arrogant control freak.
At the end of the day, it is to God that I will give final account.
My earliest memory of him is him slapping a teenage girl because she refuted his claims of her being a witch, in full view of his congregation. Even as a child I knew there was something wrong with him.
Igbo men will literally marry second wives because their first wife is not Igbo and so not considered wife enough. This is so common and acceptable that my mum thought it was the same in other tribes

Mtchew.. Talk wetin you know abeg. Mmanu is the general igbo name for yoruba people just they same way they mock us. It has nothing to do with marriage rights and privilege.
Again, if a yoruba, hausa, asian or whatever woman married into igbo, SHE IS IGBO! She has same rights.
By saying “don’t justify your wickedness with feminism” she implied there are feminists, who justify wickedness with feminism.
It feeds into the century long stereotype of feminists being wicked/bitter women.
Toddlers are unable to create a complex balance of sensory stimulation. A toddler for example will struggle to beat a drum in a way that it creates music.
Perhaps your culture cooks like toddlers. Can’t combine a balanced mix of spices to create a flavor🤷🏽♀️
Toddlers seek extreme sensory experiences
Tell a child to pick a color, he will reach for the brightest. A flavor? Sickly sweet.
Palates turn delicate, nuanced, refined only through experience and reflection.
Some cultures eat like toddlers.
This story is WILD!!!
2 brothers are fighting over laundry, 1 throws a flower pot, the other picks a gun, goes to the the patio a shoots flower pot thrower’s wife, lounging in a chair, in the back of the head.
Women remain the target and collateral damage for psychotic men!
Just coming back to this, You cannot diagnose a mental disorder without an evidence of distress in the individual.
Next time rather than double down, just revisit the topic, or better still explain that it’s your own opinion. It’s not a big deal.
There's a reason brands like Jenny's glow only use biracials like Nengi to sell their bleaching products. Nothing is an isolated event. Igbo babes are now claiming all of them are yellow like ice spice.
Lets all keep lying to ourselves yeah?
@ulxma
UK is a democratic society, they’re trying to whip up public anti-immigration sentiments to support making ridiculous laws. Interviews like that have a huge impact on the British public
I’ve dated men and I just have to say that you don’t have to cheat on them for them to do very wicked & mean things to you. Cheating was just an excuse for you, you’re a wicked person 👍🏾
@instablog9ja
When my ex started cheating, I did not let her know I knew, but I was planning my revenge carefully. Told her to resign her job that I will open a spa for her (she has always hated her job). Then when she resigned and told me, I sent her my evidence with a break up text.
You’re not special babes. So long as women are seen as a commodity by a group of men you, a woman will be seen and treated the same. What you have achieved, or what you think of yourself does not matter.
If you like, call me a commodity that can be acquired, I can never be bothered about something so frivolous. When you encounter me, you’ll know Nwanyi di n’iche n’iche. Them no dey even tell person and it’s not something to cry about on Twitter.
@Orunmumipe
She says she’s been saved from being a baby mama because she’s ugly dark skin and then goes on to say she has sex here and there…….. how does she think baby mama happens??
From Uni. She was really pretty then as she is really pretty now.
For someone to look at this absolute beauty and say she wasn't so back then is cruel.
I see this differently. Those men are simply reflecting on an aspect of their profession. They are not saying they abuse women or plan to. They admit that they face temptation and go further to state how they overcome those temptations. That's commendable and should be encouraged
@TallDarkGuy_
@UnekwuojoJimmy
Lol.....he's a Doctor, that has never heard or learnt about cryptic pregnancies. Sounds ignorant to me. It's not common but it happens.
Summary of comment section and quotes.
1. Most men will wish

on any woman who does what the victim did to the man.
2. Most women are capable of doing what the victim did.
Lesson: know who you’re dealing with” the guy is a m0rdur£r no doubt but the lady played a role.

This and the fact that they actively create and enable societies that support GBV and then label men that are violent towards women ‘beasts’. But they are not beasts, they’re a products of the society.
You don’t have to make any relationship work, that’s how people remain in abusive relationships. Also finding your person is always retrospective because anybody can turn to werey anytime
Once you find your person, just make it work, man. Hard as it sounds but nothing is unforgivable. Love yourself to either just be alone or be determined to make things work. When you think about it this way, you become even more deliberate about not hurting people too.
Feminism is a good thing I love it and the global picture understands it well. We uphold its dignity
But the social media, Twitter(especially the Nigerian context) feminism is occultic, demonic & an agenda from the pits of Hell
But we are not ready to have that conversation
@BlvckDotun
@lydiaaofficial
This is not about the choice a teenage girl made, it’s about older men deliberately manipulating young women and girls. You always have lessons for women and none for your fellow men.
Oh wait, a man takes responsibility, pays the rent, water, electricity, even the foodstuffs and all he asks is that you cook and automatically he’s wished death?
They say the brain regenerate cells daily but i guess yours is stuck in a constant state of degeneration
My parents have been married 40 years and have experienced the death of a child, moving to a different continent, children changing, financial ups and downs ... discomfort is not about abuse. Even sisterhood and friendships have rough patches.
Am against any female wearing Trousers to any Catholic Church. Even in the temple of justice where I worship you can't wear trouser or not cover your hair as a female to court you don't dare. This practices has been there before now and such practices must be Preserved.

Justify this level of violence over some random words is wild because what if one of the girls had a knife? Now his dad is dead and he’ll be dead too. Please do better
