A great example of the multiple benefits of making places for both people & nature. Removing the Crossmill Weir improved the ecological status of the water whilst reconnecting the local community with the river; providing a positive environment for physical & mental health đź‘Ź
First salmon spotted upstream in the Levern Water in 150 years! Partners & the local community worked to open up the river for migratory fish. Supported by @ClydeRF, @ScottishEPA Water Environment Fund & @OpenRiversProg Find out more:

Plans are in place to increase local quality greenspace in Easterhouse and regenerate vacant and derelict and improving connections to @SevenLochs. We were happy to support this workshop, which will pave the way for collaborative and community centred green space development.
Lots of developments happening in Easterhouse just now. We hosted a workshop with different organisations working in the area to explore possible collaboration; the first step in an exciting journey to develop green spaces & benefit the local community. Watch this space!

Great to see partners coming together to overcome barriers to green infrastructure. This kind of event is crucial to enable partner-based approaches to developing natural climate solutions across the CSGN.
Earlier this month, we co-hosted with @ICEScotland a fantastic roundtable on nature-based infrastructure in the context of the @csgreennetwork. Read our CEO Tom Campbell's blog which reflects on the discussion's themes, barriers & taking action together.
