@DanKaszeta Nobody is looking to start a quarrel with the US, but if the US starts messing with the world, then eventually the world will mess back.

@Jill1Sweden Serious question that I know nothing about: how hard would it be for Canada to reach regulatory alignment with EU on say agriculture, food, finance, pollution, privacy and automotive? Are regulations within Canada unified?

@nippon_en The bridge restoration is now finished and it has been reopened. It’s a cute little bridge. Just over the bridge are a couple of old houses you can visit, one built by a Japanese merchant and if my memory is correct the house is still owned by his descendants.

@TraceyRyniec @vtg2 Think about all the paperwork this is going to create. Bureaucracy will have to increase not decrease.

@ralph_petry @BraddrofliT Ah, but it wasn’t the Canadian electricity that got him in the end. 🤣🤪😂

@warrensbuffet2 @MarkUrban01 Agreed. And if EU does buy US equipment, do it as a block and pressure US to give up decision making to EU purchasers. Also start with reciprocation - any EU components in US equipment, EU has same right. Good luck to US getting whole of EU to approve US wars :)

@MarkUrban01 @BearJFK This 👆is the real point. 5% a year for foreseeable future can be managed. Uncomfortable but achievable. 30%-50% for 3-8 years breaks a country and risks a debt burden that can take half a century or more to clear.

@NWTacoLover @Osinttechnical US financial hegemony is, sadly, already in decline. Trump’s strategy seems acceleratory. How will US pay China if no one wants to re-finance US debt? Is Trump and his team smart enough to navigate this? Is anybody?

@mapsandkings Great work. Thanks for sharing. I often wonder what really happened to the Celts. What was the breakdown of pushed out, assimilated, and killed. Crazy to think that in 1066 the “English” had been there only ~5 centuries.

@micheal_olainn @EoinhHurley @JohnOBrennan2 Finland affords it. It should be possible for Ireland. The transition from where you are now to building up the forces and then maintaining them might be the trickier bit.

@RobinBroadway4 @Scaramucci What about the Mexican and Canadian firefighters that rushed to help out in California (checks notes)…2 weeks ago?

@antixnz @RobinBroadway4 @Scaramucci Didn’t Australia also support America in their ill conceived ventures in Vietnam?

@RobinBroadway4 @Scaramucci As an Englishman I can’t believe I have to say this: War of Independence - France.
