Striving for a quality public transport experience

@DanielH16577898 @NotOrrio It's simple - people in #Melbourne don't like buses with 30-40-60 min waits, buses that don't wait for train connections, indirect routes & the 60-odd routes that don't run Sundays Upgrade several key routes to every 10 mins 7 days (like a tram) and then get back to me

@MelbOnTransit @MsMountebank Another frequency hole (of many) is weekday morning arrivals on #180bus into #Tarneit Once a 45 min gap before 7am has since blown out to 65 mins...! 😒 Would be cheap to insert an extra trip here. No wonder parking fills up!

@hamhammer27 @AussieWirraway A train terminating at platform 2 at Watergardens every 10 mins would be fine, anything more can run to/from the sidings or Calder Park yard anyway?

@Steen_Dr @declanmartin75 Townhouses seem to have replaced unit stock in a lot of newer outer suburbs? A potential foot in the door for a young couple who hope to upgrade into a larger home nearby as their kids are born/grow?

@declanmartin75 The outer suburb townhouses that front onto open space are a particularly nice touch, including letterboxes along a walking path This artists' render from #Sunbury is a bit different from the community park shown in Google Streetview tho

@aussiewongm @train_cancelled @tramwife One reason to have these GIS lines is for a passenger to follow their trip on apps in real-time so they don't miss their stop Could be quite concerning for the bus to be shown several KMs off route if you aren't familiar with express running etc?

@markdavaus @aussiewongm Or these bus stops on Derrimut Rd #Werribee where people expected to walk extra 25m as crossing point at rear of stop, away from key residential streets People instead take their chances stepping into traffic lane to take a shortcut around fence #BetterBusesWest #BetterBusesVic
