@SamQuinnCBS Likely because the Lakers dominated OKC last season when thunder didnt have front court size to defend AD and lebron. Seems like many lakers fans haven’t updated their priors to the current reality that now we’re the ones with the undersized front court

@brosales12 I was all for Dennis before we got Luka. It doesn’t make sense now tho. We already know that Dennis isnt effective off ball and letting him have the ball would mean taking it away from Luka or Austin which I don’t want to do. Gabe is a much better fit on this roster than Dennis

@brosales12 Idk about that. Austin will be running point when Luka sits but Gabe has a lot of value to this team now as a 3nD guard who can credibly defend PGs and hit catch and shoot threes. There aren’t any of those out there available for the minimum

@NoTechBen Some of us really appreciated AD and even though we’re excited for a future w/Luka we’re also a just little bummed that without warning there are no more AD games. Nobody wants to hear that from us right now tho especially while Mavs are gnashing teeth & rendering garments

@CoreyB08 He’s 31 not 41. Bridges went for 5 picks without making a single all star team. AD is the only 25+ ppg scorer who’s also a legit DPOY candidate since Heatles era LeBron. Hes a top 10 guy in the reg season who consistently morphs into a top 5 guy in the playoffs

@AllenSales Worse in the short term but so much better positioned for the long term . I love AD but hes about the same age as Shaq was when we traded him to the Heat and he only had like 2 all star years left in him. Luka is younger than Reaves!

@BrianJNBA And unlike most bigs, his value goes way up in the post season. He regularly goes from being a top 10 guy to a top 5 guy in the playoffs.
