he did actively need a spaceship to get to the ark! He could only get their in hero paths thanks to sonic and the other instances black doom transported him there! We see him chaos control in the pre-cosmic fall cutscene but that’s more ambiguous.

This is such a relief/excitement since frankly shth 05’s in-level chaos control was kinda messy (esp compared w/ its boss mode counter) & sorta slapped in. Using chaos control to multipath sounds like the perfect implementation!
