Got to say, I fell more in love with
#mkdons
than I ever realised I could tonight. We played football. We beat Wycombe for the 4th time this season. We battled until the end. We didn't get into a wrestling match. We played football the MK way. Up the fucking Franchise.
The most baffling chant for AFC fans to be proud of. Firstly it is a confession that MK Dons are indeed Wimbledon. Secondly, where were their fans? 10,000 disappeared after relegation, but probably more if you include away fans. We are customers, remember?
@CallumDowst
Sign a player for nothing sell them for £300k. Buy another player for low six figures, sell them for £1mill. Sign an old broken free agent for nothing, sell them for £250k. Have a hotel, arena and conference facilities on site. Offer sustainable wages. Play attractive football.
I'm setting up AFC MK Dons. No decision has been made but I'm running away just in case. We will play in a field then maybe make Bedford Town homeless before moving to our spiritual home a postcode away from Milton Keynes.
To clarify, Pete was asked a question and wanted to make the point that any decision of that magnitude would have to come from supporters.

I wish this odd outlook would stop. We may not have the historic ground, honours from decades ago or as loud fan base. But our ambition, playing style, transfer policy, culture, recent success and stability make us a very attractive club to join. We often offer lower wages too.
It’s another Scott Twine situation if that deal goes through with Bishop. It’s not that MK Dons are a more attractive club to join it’s the fact that we’re terrible at negotiating transfers.

has today been recalled from his loan spell with the Dons by Stockport County.
Everyone at AFC Wimbledon would like to thank Connor for his efforts and wishes him all the very best in his future career 🤝

Over £3million in player sales in 6 months, reduced wages since League Two, hosting the Women's Euros, 4 massive concerts, darts, strong man competitions, snooker, F1 functions, a hotel, all of MK1....
@AshleySymonds_
When you have to pretend (lie) that there are more home fans than away fans at your white elephant of a stadium, then clearly things aren’t sustainable. Good.

Everyone at
@MKDonsFC
should be embarassed. From Winkelman's seating plan to Williamson's lack of tactics over the past few months to the players on the pitch over these two legs. That being said, I couldn't help but laugh by the end

We've lost Woz and Harvie. They've had disappointing spells but gave a shit. We moan about players not getting it or caring. We moan when people aren't loyal to us. We will regret these departures even if more talented players sign.
A very productive morning for WOPA (Wimbledon Old Players Association) adding ten new former Dons to our records, spanning both the WFC and AFCW eras. If you are an ex-Don or know of one, please get in touch. WOPA are looking to put players in touch with each other as well 🤝
I don't usually bite but I always find it interesting that some fan bases forget about their own attendances when in L2. Plymouth's first two seasons back in L2 they dropped to 6915 and 7096
The sad reality is
@callumread
&
@AntoniF14
will have to deal with lots of shit on social media as the club ignores any form of contact. After the shambles with ST's, queues, posting tickets, closing stands, shit service

surely couldn't fuck up again.....
LEWINGTON'S...
The MKDSA Committee are bitterly disappointed to have to report that today we were officially told by the club to remove the shirts and scarves from Lewington’s bar as they were deemed to be a fire risk.
For any Chelsea fans wanting oligarch-free football with a 3pm KO why not stay on the District Line a few more stops and try Plough Lane this Saturday? Only a few tickets remain for AFC Wimbledon v Lincoln City so be quick…

can confirm the departure of defender Daniel Harvie, who has completed a transfer to Sky Bet League One outfit Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
Huge thanks for all your efforts over the past five seasons, Dan!
You'll always be welcome at Stadium MK 🤝
@GabSutton
His performances in 2021/22 at Dons shouldn't be forgotten especially as he missed 1/4 of the season. 28 in 68 starts with a significant injury in the middle is a solid return

Dons lost again against a team below us. I bet the local pubs are absolutely raking it in atm from the happy clappers. Atleast we have a club though eh? Don’t need anymore ambition and should carry on making the same mistakes because the fans will still pay us!!!!!!!!!!

We've got our MK back. Could have easily been 7 or 8. An absolute joy to watch, played with swagger and confidence. There's no guarantee it will last so I'll enjoy the moment

Keinan Davis has 85 first team appearances, including 32 in the Premier League. Worth noting Archer scored at Chelsea in the League Cup too
Castore have the cheek of selling L1 jackets for £90. They've only just given our players branded training gear 2 months into the season and can't be fuck to sell anything in the shop they run. This company is beyond a joke

Ah yes of course because we didn't pay fees for Wearne, Williams, Tomlinson, Harrison, Leko and Dean in the past 18 months.
Doesn't bother playing against us as he'd rather watch the Superbowl than represent his club, then scores 20% of his league goals this season against AFC. Maybe Akinfenwa is actually a Wimbledon hero after all.
A very weird take.If the players still supported GA it shows how horrific he was a manager. Awful football, zero tactics, weak mentality and terrible results. For GA it's probably better he lost the dressing room, because if that's what he asked of them and they supported it. Wow
I still like Russ and love what he did for us. But I enjoy these tweets after how smug they were about bringing him in, signing Fisher and for activating O'Rileys massive release clause (oh wait).

Ten years on:
Swansea City are currently getting booed at home for their performance against the worst championship away side, Rotherham United.
Decline.
