@marcportermagee I think it’s partly they can’t read well plus the forced reading minutes by the school as homework in elementary school. When you are forced to read it becomes a chore. I never had reading minutes as a child and I read all the time and never even watch TV.

@1in5advocacy We live in an A rated school district. My son has had an IEP since preschool for autism and a reading disability. The school provided worthless group reading help where he was put with a bunch of disruptive students. We took him out to homeschool him and he is doing great.

@SecCardona I live in an A rated school district, my son had an IEP for autism and a reading disability. The school did nothing for him. We ended up having to homeschool him and he is doing great. They got money for him but put him in worthless groups that didn’t help.

In Bible times, #eggs were a valued food like today. Jesus used an egg as a metaphor #ToTeach that we should expect GOOD gifts from God, not harmful ones, when we pray. At COSTCO today I wondered: Is this woman preparing to teach a month-long seminar on prayer? #3dollarsAdozen

@KJWinEducation I live in an A rated school district in my state and the school failed my son miserably. He luckily had 2 parents who fought for him, many kids don’t.
