@BaileyOffFilm I did that and then they told me they were making Marvel’s first family from an alternate universe where Doctor Doom is RDJ and Shalla Baal is Silver Surfer. Im done.

@Psychomanglor @SenseiFaneto Just like I’m sure the dcu will survive peacemaker season 1 being canon but not technically all of it but not the parts that connect to suicide squad exactly etc. it’s not great news for anyone interested in the success of the DCEU tho. Those things aren’t the same.

@Psychomanglor @SenseiFaneto I’m believing the reality of what they’re going to do. Just like we’re more than likely going to have X-men be the first film in the “new reality” to get people automatically on board with the new universe because they like those characters.

@Psychomanglor @SenseiFaneto We know exactly why. Because they didn’t do the fucking work to get you to care about other universes and don’t want to. So they’re using character’s people inherently already care about the fantastic four and X-men.

@BaileyOffFilm Trying to go mutants have always existed and the world has always known about them despite that not being the case ever from what we’ve seen is far worse. Especially since the MCU version would be even more of a half-assed reboot because they’ll try and keep things.

Now mutants aren’t bad because they’re a naturally occurring thing, they’re bad because they’re from another universe. Now the fantastic four has to start from scratch in becoming popular heroes despite that being a key aspect of their characters? Now doom either is a refugee and has to build latveria again? Why if the whole point of having them be from another universe in the first place is to avoid having to start from 1 supposedly?

@Psychomanglor @SenseiFaneto Everything doesn’t have to be completely different. Them literally changing any aspect of history in a significant way which “making the fantastic four and mutants always have existed” already does

By always existed, I mean they were always around and publicly known and were involved in the major events etc.
