splattercolor screen is super cool in concept but it could have been executed way more elegantly. imagine if instead of desaturating the screen it limited your field of vision for a few seconds (like the fog challenge)? way stronger and also not debilitating based on ink colors

Very important thread! It should be noted that the one exception to luring is during High Tide, where you should kill bosses as fast as possible since it's so easy to get swarmed. The eggs will always be close enough to the basket! 🙏

i'm a big fan of the change, gives more people an incentive to play and an actual goal to achieve! i just wish they had introduced new badges for it instead of repurposing the old badges, since now the previous achievements have been diminished

No, the winner should have one tag with the amount of wins against that person on it. You can’t claim someone’s tag twice, but each time you beat them the number goes up. But yes, you’re correct in how they cheated!

i actually found the reason - your mates' holograms disappear when you've found a match! this happened every single time.
probably because your switch needs to stop communicating in order to connect to other consoles :P

why is 90% of the splatoon fanbase so harassive towards ppl who play without motion, like literally who cares how other people play they just want to have fun

That's what SHOULD happen. 'Snapback' is actually negative; it's when the analog stick overshoots the centre before returning, resulting in an input in the opposite direction. It's really annoying.
