I think BYU hoops losing to UVU says more about UVU than it does BYU.
BYU is fine. They lost a game to an in-state team on a 7-game win streak.
UVU is better than people thought. Mad Dog has his team playing well enough to win their second regular season WAC title in a row.

💯. I got stabbed and I’d still choose to serve every single time if I had to do it all again. It’s not easy, but life changing things never are.
You don’t have to go on a mission to serve and grow closer to Christ, but it sure helps!

It’s been exactly 1 year since I quit my job to start a butcher shop. That shop has since turned into a small processing plant and a grass-fed ground meat brand called Grazed that you can buy in local grocery stores and online at !

I really like the navy. And I understand changing from royal to navy in the early 2000’s gave BYU a big boost in merch sells. But, I hate that Utah St is also navy blue and literally for that reason alone I wish we went all in on going back to royal. 🤷♂️
I know many of you don’t like Navy.

I quit my job.
I put in my notice at the beginning of Nov 2020. I didn't have any solid plans of what I wanted to do but I had options. I figured there was no better time to just send it, even with COVID and all, and see what happens. I'm so glad I did.

Want to improve as a shooter? Practice shots you’ll actually shoot in a game, at game speed. Those half-paced set shots you’re shooting around the three point line aren’t going to help you much. Something I wish I would’ve fully grasped when I was playing.

I’ve been asked who a good comp to Jaxon is and I’d say Shaun Green who played at Oly and Utah.
Really long and can shoot. Like can really shoot. Rn he feels more like a 4 than a 3 at the college level because that’s where he’s most likely to excel defensively.

I'll never forget seeing this dunk.
I was a little 5'9 freshman but had big dreams of playing D1 basketball and this dunk was one of the first highlights that got me excited about the idea of playing at BYU.
Shoff's post-up/screen in this play was also 🔥 haha.

If I coached high school bball, we would randomly apply full, 3/4, and 1/2 court pressure and crash 4 to 5 guys on offensive.
We’d also spend loads of time doing player dev in practice a la Rick Majerus.
This is probably why I’ll never coach high school bball haha.

We have a line of local, pasture-raised, grass-fed ground meats that will be available in 30+ Utah grocery store locations this summer.
Stay tuned.
My goal is to help Utah become less dependent on federal slaughterhouses and the federal meat supply chain and to open an easier way for people to buy beef that comes from local cows that are humanely processed at local slaughterhouses and then cut up at local butcher shops.
