There are Magdalene women buried in unmarked graves all over Glasnevin. Several graves have discrepancies. Most of the 155 women exhumed from High Park in 1993 to facilitate a land deal remain unaccounted for. I’ve yet to see a govt pol acknowledge this, never mind show concern.

I’m not sorry to be saying goodbye to 2022, which was a significant challenge from beginning to end, largely due to the actions of the State. I’m looking forward to 2023 & finally getting my (adoption) PhD across the line. We will achieve justice. We will be vindicated.✊

I received a response to an FOI of my Tusla SAR for my St Patrick’s Guild file.
95 pages of correspondence, minutes of meetings & other documents about decisions to refuse me from having access to records that wouldn’t exist without me. 🙃

7) Firstly, there is the notion that my tweet represents 'in-fighting' amongst survivor/advocacy groups. I can categorically state that this is not the case. I've been an activist in this area for 2 decades & my track record speaks for itself in this respect.

Let this be the last State inquiry into so-called 'historical' injustices.
Open up the State and Church archives so that adopted people, survivors & natural mothers can read first hand about the system as a whole.

‘Do you know where you were born?’
It’s gut wrenching to have to ask these questions of grown adults, many of whom do not know the answers simply because they are adopted.
