Soaking in the quiet anticipation of a room at AV check. Every seat will be filled with someone who brings a mountain of their own successes and challenges, and also longs to carry away something unique from the experience. I freaking LOVE my career. Heres to the tears, deep thoughts, a few shallow ones, and tons of enormous laughs and strong connections from the stage. 🎤

@wood_brothers21 Eeeek. Those are rough drives. I’ve dramatically shortened how far I’m willing. 6 hrs. Maybe 8 but usually more than 6 I’m on a plane!

I learned to have a long distance view of balance. It’s a see saw that is rarely level in any moment, but over time averages out to level. So while we may have topped out on time together during the build, balanced meals were at the bottom. I had mercy on myself and played for the long game!

Almost a foot of snow at Inkwell today! We’re staying in with hot cocoa and a fire, but a few years ago we were sledding down this driveway and laughing until our bellies hurt. Both options are fabulous for a rare southern snow day. Here’s me tossing a snowball your way: ⚪️❄️
