what a blessing it is to go to university unlike those who never got the opportunity.
As I enter my final semester of university doing this for those who never had the opportunity ❤️
Getting rejected at the final interview from law school at

last year, was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. A year later, found that my true passion lied within entrepreneurship, tech, vc and building awesome things.
Rejection is just Redirection 🙏
After nearly 5 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), here are three life lessons I’ve learned:
1. Embracing discomfort ignites growth
2. Mastery is a continuous journey
3. The real grind is often invisible

I used to think that building meant writing code, but I've realized it can mean so much more. From building communities and teams to producing music, there are countless ways to "build". Now, I'm focused on building the best platform team to support Canadian university founders.

@gregisenberg
curious: does good grades == good at ideating & building?
Got rejected from a top Canadian Venture Studio because of my grades and apparently "it's one of the best indicators of success in the role." in their eyes...
2/ Mastery:
BJJ teaches us that mastery is a continuous journey, a path without an end. There’s always something to learn in BJJ, whether you are 6 months in or a 10-year black belt. It's a martial art where the most experienced practitioners still embrace the role of the eternal
@MiguelSarenas
100% agree, there’s a misconception that you automatically need VC funding if you want to scale, but it’s not always the case! Bootstrap for as long as you can if you can assuming you are not building in a high capex industry like hardware, med tech etc…
