Was wondering why the new Bridget Jones' feedback was so much more positive than the last 2 (actually quite liked 3) and then found out the Director worked on Preacher, House of Cards and Better Call Saul! An inspired choice.

Roll on May/June, can't wait to see what Wes is cooking with this one. Riz Ahmed and Michael Cera seem like great matches for his style.

@EDouglasWW I mean the specific sound of these acts is so LCD-esque that it's hard not to hear that influence there but you do raise a good point.

Got something in the works on the smaller budgets for many of the leading players this awards season. Hopefully it sets a precedent moving forwards.
The budget of Flow is 3.5 million eur. With a smaller budget there are limitations, but that can also lead to creative solutions. I think that it's very exciting that independent animation is being recognised which will allow more films like this to be made.
