@ttmygh @RPMComo I’m slightly biased @ttmygh but is there a better brain in sport than @RPMComo and man…he’s certainly no CNUT… Keep delivering these pearls Gentlemen…plenty of people out here that appreciate the intellectual insight… 🙏

Today was awesome…and a life lesson I shall carry with me forever… HOW YOU ENDURE MATTERS FAR MORE THAN WHAT YOU ENDURE #notdoneyet #standanddeliver

As well as meeting the remarkable John Maclean (man, what an inspirational bloke)…today was just unreal… Huge thanks to ⁦Daz⁩ and Paul from NeuroMuscular Orthotics…(please excuse the semi-nudity and chicken legs)… #notdoneyet #givemethosecrutches #blessed

@RPMComo has written an insightful look in to women’s sport and what’s the way forward…and it’s not to follow men’s sport…tech exists to make a global women’s sports league massive…it will happen…and women’s sport will win…and win big…

The Sunday Column today is more about women, than women's sport. The other half of the sky ❤️ From Mary Peters to Dua Lipa. Who are they and what do they want? What does that mean for sport? And in all this, why is Gianni Infantino even a thing?

@HendoWest @BattersbyDave @BLACKCAPS @Sdoull I think you’re right Shane…a rather stark contrast between Neil Diamond and then AC/DC!…

Proud parent moment…my 11yo daughter Izzy had the privilege to toss the coin tonight on court at the Tennis Australia AO QF between Jess Paula and @vika7 inspirational athletes… I never used to understand why my Mum would be so excited when I played…now I get it ❤️

@Sportsfreakconz @AdamKerrBell Thank you…the rehab is a daily battle…it’s funny…as an able bodied person there’s so much you take for granted with regards to the basic of activities like walking or doing various chores…but given I shouldn’t even be here…every day is a blessing 🙏 take care…

@Sportsfreakconz @AdamKerrBell The concern is that a NZ domestic T20 product as the only commercial offering for cricket fans and players in NZ could leave NZ vulnerable…as for the quirkiness of Eden Park…Lords is even more flawed with its bizarre slope!…but a cricket only venue in Auckland is a good shout

@Sportsfreakconz @AdamKerrBell SA have chosen a path…rightly or wrongly…what’s NZ’s path?…matches next to the Mobil forecourt?…teaming with Oz to build something strong commercially is an option…are there other options?…I’m sure there are…but opening discussions about what these options are is healthy…

@Sportsfreakconz @AdamKerrBell Ha ha…I was thinking that watching Eden Park number 2 on tv yesterday!…like the SA T20 revamped comp…I think new thinking would mean domestic cricket back on Eden Park…Sixers v Aces etc…and remember the NZ sides are franchise teams…totally different teams from Super Smash…

@Jappy2012 @BBL @aucklandcricket @CanterburyCrick @BLACKCAPS The pitches debate is a bit of a mute point these days…most pitches are drop in and provide consistent pace and bounce wherever they are…and the reason to build an Oz/NZ comp is to compete with the various other T20 comps…is it viable…I don’t know…but to do nothing is worse

@Sportsfreakconz @AdamKerrBell I’m not sure it’s undermining…I would view it more as securing some commercial real estate in the ever changing global T20 landscape…building an Oz/NZ domestic product over the Xmas school holidays…

@wpfcsam @SurenR @BBL @aucklandcricket @CanterburyCrick @BLACKCAPS I’m not even sure it’s limited to that…given it’s franchised based…you could have players from anywhere but it’s important to grow home based talent from an Academy system much like @PenrithPanthers have shown in the @NRL

@McPhoxez I think success for any modern league situation comes with guaranteed participation which means a promotion/relegation situation is unfortunately counter productive…the NZ T20 League feeds the @BBL because like the @NRL, all NZ players can play for an NZ or Oz team…

@kiwisean1 @BBL @aucklandcricket @CanterburyCrick @BLACKCAPS Unfortunately I think the roles are reversed in cricket compared to rugby with @CricketAus being more powerful than @BLACKCAPS…2 NZ teams and 6 Oz teams can work…like the @NRL the @NZRL_Kiwis flow to the @NZWarriors and remember…this is only for a T20 comp…

@joshthomson116 @BBL @aucklandcricket @CanterburyCrick @BLACKCAPS Good question but your argument applies to NZ only…having an Auckland team in the @BBL would mean an entirely new squad with both NZ/Oz players plus overseas players…

@joshthomson116 @BBL @aucklandcricket @CanterburyCrick @BLACKCAPS Remember it’s a franchise with the biggest domestic market in NZ…you would be able to make it competitive
