Couldn’t be more proud of everyone
@theposh
tonight. The team on the pitch performed and the team off the pitch were superb as always. Can’t speak highly enough of
@ManCity
, their staff were absolutely first class
#theposh
Fair play to these
@Coventry_City
fans today, troubled times for the club but their support their team was superb. For their sake I hope the mess gets sorted out.
14 years ago today I started my journey at Cambs FA. There has been some ups,downs and challenges along the way but always tried my best to support the clubs, volunteers and referees.Met some great people at The FA,in clubs and refereeing. Football is nothing without the people.
One person who deserves so much credit for our football club is
@philadlam
. Anyone who witnessed the shift he put in yesterday, the work he is doing with the local schools and everything else he does will know what I mean
#pufc
This is the picture of the day for me yesterday! I am sure Lady Cathy was looking down beaming with pride to see her son win another trophy at Wembley!
#pufc
The real hero’s of football is the person that puts out the corner flags, marks the lines, washes the kit! The people where community comes before cash!
#grassrootsheroes
As a football supporter you go through the good times and the bad, as a
@theposh
supporter things are difficult at the moment! It’s the bad times is when a club needs you the most! It’s time to stick together and bloody fight!
It’s crazy I know but I started
@CambsFA
13 years ago today! Could never imagined that we would have had to deal with something like the last year! One thing is for sure we have some fantastic people in the game in Cambridgeshire that do so much to keep their clubs running.
16 Years
@CambsFA
today. Has absolutely flown by! My aim has always been to try and help and support people as much as I can. Thanks to everyone who has supported my along the way.
Think we have made it! This weekend sees the restart for the
@CambsLeague
, Cambridge and District Sunday League, and also the majority of Cambridge and District Colts League &
@cambswgleague
teams. Thanks to all the club officials for their support in getting to this stage.
It’s certainly been a mad last 15 months in the world and football has been no different! Have we got every decision right, probably not but We have managed to get football restarted and that’s a huge credit to everyone involved!
@CambsFA
@cambswgleague
@CambsLeague
@ColtsLeague
I am extremely proud to represent
@theposh
as the clubs supporter liaison officer. This group have connected with the fans more than any other in my 7 years in the role. I wish them and their families and amazing day tomorrow. For the 23k let’s be loud and proud.
#pufc
What ever happens for the rest of the season, watching
@theposh
this year has certainly has been great entertainment and enjoyment. A group of players that want to play for the badge and who have shown a great connection with the fans. Led by a fantastic manager.
#pufc
Just wanted to share my own personal tribute to
@SIsaacson10
. Thoughts are very much with Sam’s family at this time and everyone who knew her. Those
@KickCancerCup
nights will never be forgotten.
Peterborough United can confirm that the co-owners have accepted the resignation of manager Darren Ferguson following a phone call made by Darren to Darragh MacAnthony on Sunday.
#pufc
Yes it’s a mistake and a big one at that. Nobody goes out to make mistakes, goalkeeping mistakes are always highlighted more than any other player! Yes it was frustrating but the lad deserves our support, that’s what we should do through thick and thin.
#pufc
This is the right time to say a huge thank you to all the
@CambsLeague
club volunteers for their efforts at getting the season up and running. It’s been the toughest yet, so a massive thank you to everyone.
#volunteers
Six years ago today we lost a man that was one of the main reasons I fell in love with
@theposhofficial
! Tonight on the anniversary of his passing we could return to the championship. What a fitting way that would be to remember an absolute legend of our football club.
A tough day to say the least, thanks to everyone for their support. We are in an extremely unique situation and have done plenty of soul searching before making the decisions we have. Have a good weekend everyone.
Wishing all the football family a happy New Year! 2021 was certainly a challenging one. Did we get everything right, probably not but but we got football restarted after lockdown and that’s credit to everyone involved. Thanks to everyone for their support here’s to a better 2022
So tonight Fergie celebrate his 500th game as
@theposh
manager! Remember
@DMAC102
bringing him in first time and the reaction that got 🙈! Has given us some great memories that will never be forgotten. Massive congratulations to him and his family on an amazing achievement.
The 2020-21 season will bring more challenges than any other. However we will do everything possible to ensure as many matches are played as possible and as many people as possible get to enjoy their football.
Just want to wish
@DMAC102
, the staff, the management, the players and all
@theposh
fans a great Christmas! This season has certainly been fun! See you all on Boxing Day.
#pufc
💙
I am totally devastated. Seriously just one of the nicest people you would ever meet. The club and the city is a poorer place this evening.
#riptommy
#pufc
The football club is devastated to announce the sad passing of Tommy Robson at the age of 76.
Record appearance holder.
Nicest man you will ever meet.
Legend.
#pufc
I really think that the
@EFL
need a rule stating if the temperature is below freezing 24 hours prior to the match than any ground without undersoil heating has to have a pitch inspection a minimum of 5 hours before kick off or the travelling time of the opposing team.
Booked on a Mental Health First Aid course in October, something I really want to do and be there to support and help people. Really appreciate the support work have given me in this.
Apart from a few games tomorrow and Wednesday that really does wrap up the 2020-21 season. A massive thank you to everyone involved League Officials, Club Officials, referees, coaches and players for their support in what has been a tough and difficult time. Here’s to 21-22!
Nothing absolutely nothing can beat that feeling in the 100th minute today! 15 months of frustration, emotion everything came out!
@theposhofficial
you know how to do it 💙
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! 2020 wasn’t as we expected but just want to thank everyone again for all their support it is much appreciated. See you all in 2021!
Big shout out to
@JackBaldwin_6
! Really seen this week what he does off the field as captain of
@theposhofficial
. It’s very important a football club embraces the local community and Jack’s support of this is first class.
#pufc
Without a doubt my favourite
@theposhofficial
moment of the decade was Milton Keynes at home in play offs. Best atmosphere at London Road I’ve experienced.
It’s been a tough few weeks with the weather for all those clubs volunteers
@CambsFA
@CambsLeague
@cambswgleague
. I would just like to say on behalf of the Association, Leagues and myself thank you, we appreciate everything you do.
As we look forward to the
#Lionesses
on Thursday evening, it’s great to announce we once again have over 100 girls teams enterted in the
@STechInsurance
@cambswgleague
next season.
The lack of respect for Gareth Southgate baffles me! Reached two finals as an England Manager after taken over an England team that was on its knees! Our first men’s finals reached since 1966! Yes tonight is disappointing but the man deserves respect for the job he has done!
That’s it for 2021, thanks to all the
@CambsLeague
,
@cambswgleague
, Cambs Sunday League,
@ColtsLeague
clubs for their continued support. Along with all the officials that have continued to officiate week in, week out.
Anyone questioning the clubs decision re tickets take a look at the photo below. This was half time in the motorpoint on Saturday around the shop in the concourse
@JasonDavidNeale
#pufc
Thanks to all the
@CambsLeague
clubs for their support over the past few weeks, good honest conversations with many. Look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
Just want to say a huge thank you to all the
@CambsFA
clubs and volunteers for their support in 2020. We have some challenges ahead but together we will come through them. If anybody needs a chat or anything my phones always on.
I think we have done it! We are ready to start the
@ColtsLeague
, Cambs Mini Soccer &
@cambswgleague
seasons tomorrow! It will look different this year, please follow the guidelines and stay safe! Thanks to everyone for their support!
A bit of personal news,I have decided after 20 plus years the 2022 season will be my last in cricket administration. It’s been a great journey with some great experiences.Scoring a Lords final and 2 Minor Counties finals with Cambs were fantastic with some really good people. 1/2
Good luck to all the
@CambsLeague
starting their seasons tomorrow. Massive thank you to all the volunteers who have overcome the challenges of the Whole Game System to ensure all their players are registered.
Club policy is spot on,sign young hungry talent,develop them,allow them to move higher and then replace them. 100 percent the right man in charge to develop this. And a chairman who fully backs and supports this
@DMAC102
. The odd little blip here and there shouldn’t change this.
Congratulations to all the
@CambsFA
award winners this evening, we hope you had an enjoyable evening. Thanks also to Barry Corr for attending and all at
@CambridgeUtdFC
for their support.
Tonight was tough to take! But reflections of the season. A young side playing exciting football, a trophy win and 4th in the league and some great memories along the way. Above all a season when the football club has connected once again as one on and off the pitch!
#pufc
Right that’s the football done! So it’s time to say a huge thank you to all the
@CambsFA
&
@CambsLeague
club officials, referees and anyone else who supports the grassroots game week in, week out! Have a great Christmas.
Today was a tough one to take as
@theposh
fans totally outclassed by a very good
@Coventry_City
side. However when things aren’t going your way it’s important to stick together and fight and I’m sure that’s what we will do.
Good luck to the
@ColtsLeague
,
@cambswgleague
& mini soccer League teams who start their season this weekend. Huge massive thank you to all the club volunteers who have worked exceptionally hard in testing circumstances to get the season up and running. Enjoy it everyone!
As the seasons almost over a huge thank you to all the volunteers working in clubs. We do appreciate everything you do. See you again next season
@CambsFA
@CambsLeague
@cambswgleague
.
Despite the many challenges we have managed to get the Colts League, Mini Soccer League,
@cambswgleague
& Cambs Sunday League started this weekend. Massive thank you to everyone for their hard work & support.
No predictions from me on what
@theposhofficial
season will look like just one things for sure I’m going to enjoy the rollercoaster with some good people, it’s been far too long! Football is nothing without fans.
#pufc
Great to see so many
@cambswgleague
teams back in training and matches. Most importantly lots of smiles and enjoyment being had! It’s been a tough 6 months but let’s respect each other, have fun and enjoy our football
#respect
#footballforall
Today’s transfer business is exactly why I don’t get to attached to players they come and go! It’s about the guys I share the terrace with Week in, week out! It’s our club!
#Pufc
The next few months will bring some more challenges but we will continue to work as hard as we can to get as many people enjoying their football as possible. Huge thank you to the fantastic people who contribute to our grassroots game. 2/2
I wish all
@theposh
&
@wwfcofficial
supporters an enjoyable day on Sunday! People can say what they like about the numbers attending but there is nothing better then seeing your team in a cup final at Wembley! Making memories with family and friends whoever you support.
If I was
@DMAC102
tonight. I’d switch off twitter and spend time with his wonderful family. We are all disappointed with the performance today for sure, but let’s relax and reflect tomorrow. Still plenty of points to play for.
#pufc
The manger deserves a huge amount of credit for the
@theposh
season so far but never under estimate Kieran and Dale’s involvement in developing this young and exciting team.
