@LBC Why would you waste public money getting an HIV test if you were in a long term, monogamous relationship? Virtue signalling? Guilty voice coach banging conscience? Does he think his wife is cheating on him? This PM is beyond pathetic.

@HughEdw31897368 @BBCNews Excellent. So the numbers aren't going down, we all know that. So if these people aren't in hotels, then where are they? Social housing springs to mind, what do you think Hugh? Or did all these men just go home?

@rozjonez @mrsdepp_head @dlexc @SASR666 Apart from the reality that Farage is irrelevant, why don't you ask him? I'm not his keeper.

@PrufrockUK @leemartin8 @N5JFY @SASR666 I didn't say it was. I said it and the majority of the list of countries you sent me have an element of public, private & or employee insurance contributions & have both public & private provision. Doesn't stop it being universal. And there's no such thing as free.

@rozjonez @mrsdepp_head @dlexc @SASR666 This was talked about before, I think Mr Corbyn released the redacted papers. It was about medicines & tech. No taking over the NHS. And really, you or I have as much chance of being in a position to influence the US on our healthcare as Farage does. Nobody wants the US system.

@mrsdepp_head @dlexc @SASR666 I did read the post. Whether you pay at delivery via your insurance or 30 days later via your insurance is irrelevant.

@mrsdepp_head @dlexc @SASR666 But nobody is advocating the US model. All the world's best healthcare systems have some form of insurance & private provision as well.

@leemartin8 @N5JFY @PrufrockUK @SASR666 The French are automatically enrolled in a public insurance fund, depending on their occupation, financed by employees, employers & taxation. It's a statutory insurance. But public healthcare doesn't cover everything so many take private insurance too.

@PrufrockUK @N5JFY @SASR666 Virtually all the world's top healthcare systems have an element of private insurance & provision. As well as the vast majority of countries in Europe.

@Telegraph Shows what can be done with a little political will. Such a shame that UK governments past & present have done the complete opposite to Denmark.

@CharlesHThyme It's tragic that everybody apart from the government saw that one coming. Nice slow clap for @bphillipsonMP @UKLabour & @Keir_Starmer. You couldn't make up this level of stupidity. It would be funny if it wasn't so serious.

@g_gosden Supermarkets took furlough as did many big retailers, newspapers, construction etc - all industries, hundreds of thousands of companies did & many of them were still making profits. So what silly point are you trying to make exactly?

@DJ_Shanu_ @TerraOrBust @JeremyClarkson Fantastic argument there. You must have been great in the school debating society. Care to elaborate why they are bollox or is it a a case of you know they're true & it doesn't suit your wee narrative. We're all waiting.

@RobWSissons @martindvz It was a terrible lie. The NHS got roughly an extra £390m per week pre covid. The lying bastards. Awful

@normiewrites @floboflo Why do you assume the idiotic USA system. All the world's best healthcare eg South Korea, Singapore, Israel etc use some form of insurance & public money and a mixture of public & private provision. How many people bankrupted in the world's top 20 healthcare systems? Guess.

For a brand new govt to be so deceitful & more unpopular compared to a dying government under Truss says it all really.

But when the PM lies daily, the Chancellor ignores business, banks etc, the Education Sec ignores head teachers & schools, the Energy Sec ignores reality, it reminds me that when you dig yourself into a hole, you can't dig up.
