@ajshackman Alex, thank you for your kind words. I’ve been reflecting on them for some time now, and perhaps the moment has come to share these thoughts with the lab and the broader community. I hope other neuroimagers and clinical neuroscientists feel the same way.

@lilwebian @debyeeneuro @danamsmall @rikepetzschner Thanks for the great work!! Love it! I'm so excited to see more in this line. We have a relevant paper but with a slightly different focus: where we proposed an interoceptive AI framework for building more adaptive and autonomous agents.

Proud of this paper published in @PAINthejournal Our aim was to offer a useful reference for selecting modeling options in neuroimaging pain biomarkers, though the implications extend beyond pain study. Open access!!
Our paper about neuroimaging-based pain biomarkers is finally out in @PAINthejournal. 🎉 (Open access) This article investigated a systematic evaluation of how different modeling targets and options influence model performance. 👇Threads🧵(1/15)

Check this out! We apply a dynamical systems approach to human fMRI data, showing that geometrical features of neural trajectory reveal information integration along the cortical hierarchy. Thanks @jungwoo_yc_kim for the initiative and @neuromochi for the great co-supervision!
Different brain regions encode different pain-related information, such as the expectation of pain or the intensity of a stimulus. But where and how is this information integrated? My paper has just been published in @ScienceAdvances! (1/13)
