Update on change localization: the upgraded jspsych 7.0 (for online exp) and MATLAB code (for in-lab exp) is up on OSF (. U only need 40 trials (~6 min) to measure visual working memory reliably with localization- start ur journey by clicking the link!
Wish to measure visual working memory w/ fewer trials? Our latest work showed that with our new change localization paradigm, you can reliably measure VWM capacity only 40 trials (when n=20), half of which you'll need with the classical change detection paradigm. 1/3

We’ve been doing a lot of 2P axon imaging in the lab over the last couple of years. We (Anqi jiang and Chong Zhao) thought it would be useful to the community to formalize how to extract real signals from noisy neural structures much smaller than somas.
