Shocked!! I met him at the ISRFG 2013 as a PhD student . A very humble, enthusiastic and straight-shooting scientist. Deep respect for him. Condolences to his loved ones , may his soul rest in peace
I am so shocked that Prof. Dabing Zhang from Shanghai Jiaotong University passed away today because of a serious traffic accident yesterday middle night. He is a great plant scientist. Rest in peace, Prof. Zhang!

On 8.11.2022 we celebrated IsSBD “Career Award” conferred to Prof. Eliezer Lifschitz. His seminal discovery of ‘florigen’ - the plant flowering hormone has been revolutionary. A day later.. he passed away. What a life.. what an inspiration he was and will still be. BDE
