what i think
@metrolosangeles
orange/g line parking lots should be
*excluding sepulveda, van nuys, and north hollywood - check orange/g line transit neighborhood plan
a teen operating a several ton vehicle with virtually uncontrollable speeds down ventura blvd’s wide open lanes that have no crosswalks or traffic calming infrastructure… results, not accidents
@homeofsexuals
no bc she’s been saying she’d love to be a personal trainer for a while now, i’m glad to see she looks better and is following thru w that goal
the top five most important transit projects currently in development on the entire american continent
1. california high speed rail
2. sepulveda pass subway line (feat. van nuys LRT)
3. purple/D line extensions
4. new LAX station & people mover
5. link LA union station
It isn’t just any random road, though. Wilshire Boulevard is one of the busiest streets in Los Angeles County (by proxy, one of the busiest streets in the country) and is part of one of the region’s most heavily used bus corridors.

i did all that stuff and just hid it. kinda made my relationship w them become one where i don’t really talk abt myself or anything going on in my life
i’m not advocating for ppl stomping on cars, i’m just not mad he did it lol + ppl shouldn’t let motorists feel comfortable doing this kinda thing (if they can)
$893m is coming to the east valley from the federal transit administration’s expedited project delivery pilot program for construction of the van nuys light rail line!
the gondola is a stupid disingenuous waste of money and those settling for it w/o set plans for a future light rail station there are delusional dreamers creating hurdles to high quality (actually) rapid transit
the southeast gateway line doesn’t need to end at union station
with huge crowd expected for both games, there will likely be lines for dodger bus after the game.
if you don't want to wait and you're headed back to union station, you can walk 1.2 miles downhill to A Line's Chinatown Station -- one stop from Union Station. see map👇
Long lines (around the block) for Dodger Stadium express buses in Torrance. Buses timed to leave every 20 min even though they could fill many more.
Metro replies they don't have enough buses/operators. Need more funding
When it works, 45 min from stadium to central Torrance
too many ppl (ab)use the terms “gentrification,” “historic,” and “iconic” to demonize *any* new development without legitimacy and it’s proving to be detrimental to our communities & society as a whole — and it’s oftentimes done purely for nostalgia porn or just to prove a point
the socal waterway! a ferry service btwn los angeles and san diego
two lines:
-wave rider, in aqua w/ seven (potential) stops
-intercity express, in gold w/ three stops
you’d make so much more money if you extended service to 1 or 2am on the red line during halloween horror nights season
@metrolosangeles
it’s a wasted opportunity to not! you and universal could collab or sumn. temporarily ‘rename’ the station too
pov: you’re on the future sherman way light rail line leaving a checkup at the west hills medical center. you’re insured, financially stable, happy, and healthy from living an active car-free life. the views of the hills are nice. life is good
i wish more transit stations were open to people rather than riders exclusively
like not necessarily the boarding platforms theirselves, but i wish we had more plazas, parks, recreation/community centers, *open space* to chill and enjoy some art and the humanity around transit
$77.5 million is coming to LA to electrify our buses as we continue preparing for the 2028 Games.
Thanks to these funds from
@USDOT
@SecretaryPete
this investment in Los Angeles will benefit Angelenos for decades to come.
Plans for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles have been updated. The new plans announced today:
-The “I'm stuck in traffic” on every text chain
-The Roadrage Triathlon on all freeways
-The “Avoiding Downtown” at all costs held throughout the city
9pm on a Friday at Pershing square. No service alerts about purple like not running, no social media posts. Just good luck getting home, this happens so often
@metrolosangeles
no shade but a lot of the people talking about gentrification and how it often leads to homelessness (true) assume any new development is gentrifying/displacing ppl so they oppose it, as if their continued opposition to new development in general isn’t fueling homelessness too
