Trauma treatment for children is important in breaking cycle of violence! As a BPD Homicide Detective, it was not unusual to see young children standing outside the yellow tape, watching a young man they knew laying dead in the street. Imagine a 7 or 8 year old having to see that
Trauma impacts so many aspects of health. Brain function is significantly tied to trauma experience. This is so important for Baltimore, for our children, our schools, and for a healthy city.
