@Cloudwatch199 @narendramodi @realDonaldTrump Any concession given to Indians will make Trump look weak. He won't risk losing support of his MAGA base by explicitly helping Indian immigrants. The best he will do is to not disturb existing pathways which Indians bitterly work with.

@money_theory Important difference: Company's earning is after expenses, person's earning is before expenses.

China's communism over-invested in factories and are flooding the world with cheap produce. India's socialism over-invested in poor people without enough investment to skill them and are flooding the world with cheap labor. US's capitalism over-invested in financialization and are flooding the world with fiat currency.

@shantanugoel This is the public opinion. Only those few who get to spend the public money (and possibly get some commission) are the ones who think it is a great idea to spend government money to develop India's AI model.

@dstock_insights Okay then, what do we deserve for paying tax to the government? Pathetic government hospitals, forever congested roads, unusable government schools, clueless government offices where nothing gets done on time...? @PiyushGoyal please enlighten us on what is bada soch.

@Akshat_World PE also need returns, they're not going to pour money forever if growth expectations are low.

@asharoraa Meritocracy is an ideal world that people want to believe they live in, but we're living breathing people with evolutionary biases.

Yes, social media is personal life. Why should someone's personal opinions affect his professional life. Assuming he is really a racist, if he refused to work with other race at work, that would have been a tangible reason to fire. Or if there was genuine complaint from others coworkers about his behaviour at work. But firing because they made some comments in social media sound like a stupid thing that left would do.

Ones that can afford are taking golden visa, ones that can't are doing dunki, tech talent that you're worried about are stuck in decades long green card queue. Happy to know you're doing something about it. All of the above mentioned problems are due to government's inability to build the economy to give its citizen what they deserve. As a tax paying citizen in a democracy it is my duty to criticize the government, hoping they will wake up from the dream world they're living in. Until the government does the right thing, deregulation, decentralisation, decriminalisation, etc responsible citizens need to keep pointing out their failure.

You first explain what I don't understand. Millionaires are moving abroad because they don't see any scope of making money in India. The government with its bureaucracy is making businessmen life hell by dragging them into mountains of paperwork. Instead of fixing that problem, they just want to make a publicity stunt of allocating money for startups, as if funding is the only blocker for startups in India.
