My personal proposal to hinder growing number of arm injuries would be to expand rosters to 30. Go from a 5 man to 6 man rotation and have 3 additional relievers available in the bullpen to allow for more flexibility and rest amongst pitching staffs.

As someone that has struggled mightily with finding consistency in the strike zone I can tell you this couldn’t be further from the case. More often than not the guys in the portal are not seen as valued by their current team. It’s hard pitching for people you feel don’t care..
Transfer portal for pitchers basically means can’t throw strikes or can’t get anyone out…..

The portal is the reason I was able to find the correct fit and have a great deal of success, resulting in my opportunity to play professionally. It just takes one school that sees you as not only a player of value, but a person of value to produce results on the field.
